Those Still Mornings

It’s currently 6:41am.

I’ve been up since about 3am. Don’t ask 😩lol. My sleeping pattern always been a bit off. Being a bartender, working weird hours would have you up all kind of times. But I havent “Worked” since March. So now my excuse for my rebellious sleeping habits is simply.....the days and the time is starting to blurr together. I don’t have a job that I have to clock into at a certain time. I make my own schedule and I think my body knows this. One things for sure. I’ve ALWAYS been a morning person. No matter what time I went to sleep, I would always be woke by 4am~8am. I would beat the sun up, while it’s pitch black out and all the birds and squirrels are still in their nest sleep. I’d be up already adding food to their trays. *𝙸𝚗𝚜𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚛*☺️

...Can I tell you what I love about it tho? About being woke at this time? For once, it feels calm. It feels silent and even though I know I’m not....It make me feel like I have the world to myself for just a moment. Waiting for the morning sun to join me and then back to this crazy, fast pace, chaotic world. Where phones start to ringing, cars start to honking, business are opening, social media is being used my millions.....life begins. So even tho Id rather not be up at exactly 4am...I don’t mind it. While the world is still sleeping I am getting so much done. I’m giving myself my daily pep talks and reminded of things i want to accomplish. Setting the tone early. Catering to my being first. There’s so much I wanna do. I wanna read, I wanna get creative, I wanna repot some plants, I wanna take down this tree and decorate. I really would love to make some hot wings and other bomb apps for the football game. So many possibilities 😍

Can you do me a favor today? Look for the good in everything today. If you can‘t find good in it, dismiss it. At least for today. You deserve that. ✨
